Hmmm, she doesn't dance as well as she used to I agree. She has lost some of her flash and flare. She still owns her sexuality as she showed on stage though. How edgy of her to grab her crotch like her brother Michael did and she even changed hands. That was provocative like a statement I'm a sexual being. She pushed the edge a bit when she grabbed her male dancers crotch but she showed that females can be aggressive sexually as well with her next move. Pushing the head down on her male dancer was indeed a statement and then she simulated butt sex and had him kneel in front of her. The head to crotch move simulated oral sex and with that Janet Jackson opened the AMAs and said I'm still here. I'm still performing and I am a woman who is all in her own control. She was really out of breath and she had lip synced a lot of her performance so the vocals weren't there but her prescence was what made the opening number good. Can't think of any other artist who would have been better to open this show this year.
