DJ AM. i am a 50 year old mother of three grown children, and a grandmother of two. i saw DJ AM's show.."Gone Too Far" for the 1st time last Monday( on oct.(12)'09). this show shook me too the core,in its absolute honesty, from DJ,as well as the young woman and her family that this episode was about. i realize a lot more @ the horrors of heroine, and its tentacles that reach out and destroy lives. Keep this show going,(i've watched it re-run 2x more this week, and cried just as hard each time),for the family in this episode, and as much for the life of this young man,who was spared miraciously from the horrible plane crash he lived thru, but for what he did,and-with the keeping this show alive, how many, many lives he has,and will continue to save, help, and have others understand the horrific drug...heroine. God,i hope this young man is seated near you,and able to see all the lives he and his work has and will affect. "Gone too Far" is on again tonight,Monday,10/19/09, and i hope there are many more episodes, and lives saved with the airing of this show on MTV.This is a show that can reverberate across the world, and help,as well as give hope to many addicts and thier families. Kudos,MTV,for another awesome reality series that is helpful in a world full of nonsence-filled shows.
DJ AM will be greatly missed, but please MTV do not pull the plug on his show "Gone Too Far" His message is stronger now then ever before and his show can still inspire and help addicted teens across the world. Don't let his death keep him from helping our youth with his show.
