Hopefully you've been stocking up on sunscreen, because the mtvU Woodie Awards are back! The 2015 show will premiere live from Austin, Texas during the SXSW Music Festival on Friday, March 20, 2015, and is bringing yet another incredible batch of on-stage acts and top-notch presenters.
So who will be your trusty Woodie Awards host this year? Fear not, festival-goers, because it's none other than Jack Antonoff! The Bleachers frontman, Ally Coalition co-founder and Look Different's Good Look Panelist is already a Woodies veteran thanks to some unforgettable past performances, and this year he'll take it up a notch by actually hosting the big show. Get pumped, because knowing Jack it'll be nothing short of amazing.
To kick off the festivities, Action Bronson, MisterWives, Rae Sremmurd, Raury, Ty Dolla $ign, Clean Bandit with Jess Glynne, and more will be playing the Woodies Festival. As if that wasn't exciting enough, the Woodies will also proudly welcome a group of some pretty sweet performers to the stage. In addition to the show getting a big dose of Big Sean, London electro-pop trio and 2015 Woodie Award nominee Years & Years will make its U.S. TV debut with a live performance, and chart-topping rock gods Fall Out Boy will hit the stage to slay with a song of their own, and soulful singer/songwriter James Bay will be sure to give everyone goosbebumps. Pretty cool, no? Well, the fun doesn't stop there. Fall Out Boy will also be honored for their years of music superstardom and intense loyalty to their fans with the first-ever induction to the "Hall Of Wood," while Zoe Kravitz, Tove Lo, The Fat Jew, and Marina & The Diamonds, Ellar Coltrane, A$AP Rocky, MisterWives, Rae Sremmurd and Hoodie Allen will be on hand to present awards throughout the night.
