It's official, everyone: the 2014 mtvU Woodie Awards are dunzo. Whether you're still nursing a well-worth-it burn from the Texas sun or in withdrawal from watching the show's rad performances from the comfort of your couch, you've got to agree that this year's Woodies really knocked it out of the park. Some incredible on-stage acts and top-notch presenters rolled into Austin for the March 16th show, so we know you just had to be glued to your TV screen. On the off-chance you were held up somewhere being hypnotized by a Beyonce video (it's a real problem, people), check out our recap below.

It all started with the Woodies Festival, an afternoon of non-stop live music that amped the crowd for the night ahead. Between exclusive interviews and electric performances from bands like Phantogram, Wild Cub, London Grammar, Echosmith, Vic Mensa, American Authors and Sam Smith, fans couldn't get enough. Jack Antonoff of Bleachers spilled some very important and life-changing deets regarding his feelings on emojis, and Iggy Azalea got down and 'Dirrty' talking about Christina Aguilera. If you missed out on any of these behind-the-scenes chit-chats, we've got you covered. Watch all the action here!

If there's any tried and true way to kick off an awards show, a surprise mini-performance of Lil Wayne's crowd pleaser 'A Milli' by Young Moolah Baby himself is the way to go. Literally jumping out on stage to open the Woodies, Wayne got the audience hyped for some 'huge mother****in' artists.'

Next up, swoon-worthy Brit band The 1975 arrived to grace The MTV Artist Stage with their delicious hit, 'Chocolate,' before accepting one of the biggest awards of the night, Breaking Woodie. From there things only got more exciting, as young Hollywood hotshots Shailene Woodley and Theo James strolled on stage to present an exclusive clip from their new movie, 'Divergent.' Once the audience had enough of a thrill from seeing bad-a** Tris do her thang, they got another surprise when the on-screen duo revealed the winner of the Performing Woodie, uber-talented ginger and acoustic guitar-extraordinaire Ed Sheeran.

The Austin night may have been cooling down, but the Woodies were just heating up. Danny Brown and Steve Aoki rolled up to announce a sizzling and much-anticipated performance from the Woodie Awards' leading lady, Iggy Azalea. Charli XCX helped the 'Fancy' rapper take the party to the next level with short-shorts, confetti and a ton of balloons. Next up was presenter Wiz Khalifa, who discussed his incredible 2011 Woodie Of The Year win with Charlamagne tha God, followed by a gracious 'Did It My Way' Woodie tele-acceptance speech from Queen B herself. Khalifa came back to pass the coveted 'Woodie Of The Year' torch along to Drake by way of Lil Wayne, who could not have been more proud of his protege. To close out the Woodies in style, Hannibal Burress introduced none other than 2011 Woodies host Childish Gambino, who came out of the crowd literally glowing. He shut down the award show with a killer medley performance of '3005/Sweatpants' that was not to be missed.

The sun may have set on the 2014 mtvU Woodie Awards, but look on the bright side y'all - you now have a full 12 months to stock up on sunscreen, water, goldfish, rubber chickens and everything else you'll need to survive next year's show. There's no telling what it'll bring, but one thing is certain - if we want to top this year's show, it's gonna be good.
