When he's not looking for love on Kaya, Joe hosts the children's TV series Ghost Trackers. His other TV credits include a recurring role on Romeo! and guest appearances on Blood Ties, Smallville, The Collector, Touching Evil and John Doe. Joe also co-starred in the Steven Spielberg miniseries Taken and the made-for-TV movies Night of Terror and Monster Island.
Joe has appeared in movies like Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed and Saved!
Raised on the road with his parents, who were musicians, Joe was taught to sing and play various instruments at an early age. Although he is proficient in guitar, drums and piano, he had to learn to play bass for his role as Manny on Kaya. Joe is the lead singer and songwriter for the band Day Theory, whose music was featured in both Monster Island and John Doe. Day Theory played fictitious band Godflight in Saved!
Born in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Joe began performing sketch comedy and was active in the local theatre scene at a young age. He then went on to study acting and perfect his improvisation skills at Mount Royal College in Calgary, Alberta. He now lives in Toronto and, when he's not filming Kaya, enjoys writing music and watching movies.
