L.A. Laker Kobe Bryant has a rap album under his belt. Produced under contract with Columbia Records, Visions was supposed to have been released in the spring of 2000. An exec told the New York Post: "The album was supposed to be out in March, but then they listened to it again, and it was so bad they put the kibosh on it."

Deion Sanders
In 1995, Dallas Cowboy Deion Sanders released a rap album called Prime Time; it was produced by MC Hammer's brother, panned by critics and sold around 69,000 copies.

Dallas Cowboys
If one team can be accused of making too much music, it's the Dallas Cowboys, who have albums, videos, novelty Christmas songs and a greatest hits discs. Even the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders recorded albums and sang "Silent Night" on The New Dallas Cowboys Christmas. Even 1986 coach Tom Landry rapped in the team's 1986 music video (made for home viewing). Not to mention that all-time favorite Waylon Jennings-penned classic, "The Good Old Dallas Cowboys."


Master P
Percy Miller of the Charlotte Hornets is also known as rapper Master P. The 6'4" point guard played briefly in 1999, and opened the No Limit Sports Management company which represented Ricky Williams, Boston Celtic Ron Mercer & Cavalier Derek Anderson.

Garth Brooks
Country music giant Garth Brooks went through spring training in 1999 with the San Diego Padres. Brooks jumped into the game as a pinch-runner during an exhibition game against the Chicago Cubs. In 2002, Brooks declined an offer to join the Colorado Rockies as a spring training invitee.
