Episode Summaries: Week 4

If you missed an episode, you missed out big-time. It's amazing how much happens in one day in the quiet town of Fort Kent. Check out episode summaries below to get up-to- date on the latest happenings.

Monday, July 9th:
At the backwoods cabin, Taylor's gun goes off, but no one's hurt. The mystery man's name is Lyle and he's Taylor's brother, fresh from jail. Taylor has a past that she does not want revealed, so she pays Lyle off to make him leave town. But she doesn't know Lyle has some photos: the sex shots of Taylor and Sasha! Meanwhile, Daphne and Dmitri are locked in a passionate kiss at the laundromat. They meet later for dinner at her place, and as they're making out, Taylor shows up and learns Dmitri is back in Fort Kent for good. In the morning at Francisco's apartment, Francisco is still handcuffed to the bed as Natalia playfully snoops through his things--but misses the file folders with Boris Carlisle's name on them. As they get kinky, there's a knock at the door. It's Dmitri, who wants to lay low from Natalia and investigate his father's death. Francisco doesn't say Natalia is over, and tells her it was just a neighbor at the door. Later, Natalia is back at home and talks with Julie, who's upset about her father's health. Natalia assumes that Julie now knows about Ivan's sexuality and tells her to get over it…it's his lifestyle that's to blame. Julie thinks she's being incredibly insensitive, but Ivan walks in, realizes the miscommunication, and covers for Natalia. Julie leaves and Ivan tells Natalia he can't tell his new wife the truth yet. Natalia tells him that Julie needs a real husband.

Tuesday, July 10th:
Taylor and Daphne show up for work in the morning to discover a team of repairmen fixing up their store. Daphne is incredulous that her letters proved so effective, but Taylor is suspicious. Dmitri walks in when Daphne is in the back and Taylor gets Dmitri to admit he's behind these repairs. He swears Taylor to secrecy, thinking Daphne's pride might be hurt. When he leaves, Taylor manipulates Daphne into figuring out Dmitri was involved. Daphne is upset that he would undermine her. Lyle is buying a bus ticket out of town when Sasha saunters up to the counter, trying to buy a bottle of champagne. His fake ID doesn't work and he leaves. Lyle recognizes Sasha from the photos and buys him the champagne so he can meet Sasha. Lyle can't believe he's a Carlisle and decides to stay in town a little longer. At Euphoria, Sasha is late and Gretel wants to run a sound check. Cherish stands in and sings while Gretel plays, when Sasha walks in. She's incredible! At Spyder Games, Natalia and Todd are preparing for their big video game launch. During their meeting, Jeff Northcutt--an investigative reporter doing a book on Boris Carlisle--walks in. Jeff says he's thinking of another angle: focusing on the youngest woman to head a high tech corporation. Natalia agrees to have Jeff observe her over the next few days. Later Jeff gets on the phone with Dmitri, saying he completely hooked Natalia with this fake journalist angle. Dmitri hopes he'll get her to reveal all her dark and dirty secrets.

Wednesday, July 11th:
At Euphoria, Sasha is shocked that Cherish can sing so well. When Jimmy shows up later, Sasha has a moment of stage fright, but he and Gretel start and play very well. It seems like Jimmy is digging it until he leaves the club to answer his cell phone. Sasha is mad, and when Jimmy returns, Sasha gives him an earful. Jimmy tells him to cool out, saying he heard enough: It was awesome. He wants to cut a demo and shop it around to the labels in L.A. Sasha is ecstatic. Natalia, working late, is visited by a picnic-toting Francisco, who has more than food on his mind. Francisco seems to be trying to get information out of Natalia about her father leaving her the company and her feelings about Dmitri. She says she deserved the company, and adds that if her brother moved back to town, she'd make his life a living hell. Francisco defends Dmitri, saying it was him who got Francisco off drugs back in high school. Natalia is unimpressed. Meanwhile, Jeff and Dmitri discuss the possible motives Natalia and Ivan would have had for killing their father. Dmitri remembers how upset Ivan was at his father the night of the bachelor party and doesn't know where he was later that evening. Dmitri knows that his father was not alone after he left the bachelor party, because Boris would have never listened to Moby. Later that night, Dmitri shows up at Natalia's office. She is shaken when Dmitri says he's coming to work there. Natalia says their father made her CEO so she's got ultimate say in what happens, adding that they've never had a VP of Public Relations before. Dmitri says, "We do now."

Thursday, July 12th:
After the repairs have been made, the boutique's business is booming. Taylor continues to drive a wedge between Daphne and Dmitri, convincing Daphne even more that Dmitri undermined her authority as a small business owner. At that moment, Dmitri walks in just as Taylor gets Daphne to think twice about Dmitri's 'good Samaritan ways'. Daphne says she knows it was him as Dmitri shoots a look to Taylor. Taylor says she just figured it out, maintaining Dmitri's trust. Daphne tells Dmitri he should've asked her first before he did something like this. He asks her what would she have said if he did ask first? Daphne replies, "Thank you," much to Taylor's chagrin. Daphne takes Dmitri out for a very nice dinner…her treat. Their night together is going swimmingly, until Daphne's credit card is rejected having been overdrawn. She is beside herself with embarrassment as Dmitri pays the bill. At Euphoria, Sasha and Cherish are celebrating the fact that they're making a music demo with the hopes of getting some record label interest. Alex is there but he takes the high road and congratulates Sasha. They're about to go out for pizza but Sasha says he's got something else to do. Cherish tries to cover her disappointment. Alex stays to have dinner with a disappointed Cherish. She asks why he's wasting his time on her. He tells her he just wants her to keep her options open…you never know what's gonna happen. When Daphne and Dmitri leave for dinner, Taylor gets a knock at the boutique backdoor. It's Sasha. She informs him that Dmitri is back in town, information Sasha didn't have yet. He's a little pissed but puts it aside as he happily tells Taylor about the demo he's cutting. Her reaction is less than enthusiastic as she tells him she's glad his life is taking off, but she just can't be a part of it anymore. She says it's too risky, especially due to their age difference. She says it was never supposed to get this serious. Sasha states, but it has. She says she's sorry, but it's over. Sasha is devastated and he leaves dejected. Back at the house, Julie doesn't know where her husband, Ivan, is. We see that he's gone to get pro-active about these homosexual feelings he's had for years. He goes to a psychiatrist, Dr. Leslie Brogan, a doctor who claims to have helped several hundred formerly gay men and women find their true heterosexual identities. Ivan is skeptical but desperate. She tells him it's good he hasn't ever acted on his homosexual urges and to fight them. He's got a beautiful wife and he wants to make the marriage work which is half the battle. When Ivan waxes concern about feeling obligated to perform sex with Julie, Dr. Brogan advises him to concentrate on her pleasure. He says he'll give it a try. Meanwhile, Julie goes back to see Temple, the hairdresser, desperate to make her fledgling marriage work. Hearing they've only been married for a week, Temple suggests crystal methamphetamine to spice up their love life. Julie rejects that idea, never having done anything harder than a pot brownie. He slips a little baggie of crystal into her purse anyway. Julie comes home, sees Ivan still isn't home and starts to cry. She grabs for some tissue in her purse and sees the drugs Temple slipped in there. Angry she throws it in the bedroom trashcan. Does it stay there for good?

Friday, July 13th:
A dejected Julie cries to herself in her bathroom, decides to take a shower. As she's in there, Ivan walks in laden with grocery bags. Julie, out of the shower, contemplates perfume or to put on something sexy to turn Ivan on but says to herself, 'Why bother?'. She exits into the bedroom to see a room turned into a romantic fairy tale, complete with flowers, champagne, strawberries and chocolate, etc. After a big passionate kiss, he tells her he's been neglecting his new wife for weeks but he's going to make up for all of it tonight. They get hot and heavy as Ivan takes Dr. Brogan's advice, concentrating on her pleasure. Ivan can't take it anymore and runs into the bathroom and vomits repeatedly. Julie thinks it's completely her, that she is making her husband sick and can't take it anymore. She grabs the crystal meth out of the garbage and contemplates this desperate action. On the street, Cherish sees Sasha crying on a bench. He confesses to her that he just got dumped, much to Cherish's surprise. She didn't even know he was seeing anyone. He said they kept their relationship to themselves. She wants to know who the bitch is, but Sasha won't say. She switches subjects and talk about the demo. He interrupts her and says he wants to ask her something very important. Of course, Cherish thinks it's love-related, but he asks if she'll sing backup on the demo. She's hesitant but he's very persistent and she relents, wanting to stay close to him. Sasha takes her home on his bike. Meanwhile, Taylor continues to try to drive a wedge between Daphne and Dmitri, wanting him all to herself. Taylor, through her expert manipulation, tells Dmitri things with the store are much worse than Daphne let on. And if Daphne wasn't so proud, she'd ask Dmitri for more help. But if he asked her, she'd never admit it. Taylor asks Dmitri to trust her, she knows her best friend, Daphne. She hates to ask for help, even when she needs it. Dmitri knows he has to do more and thanks Taylor for the heads-up. Taylor knows as soon as Dmitri tries to help little Daphne again, it'll enrage her and hopefully break them up. That's when Taylor'll swoop in. Back at Daphne and Taylor's apartment, there's a knock at the door. Daphne is home alone when the man on the other side of the door says it's Lyle, Taylor's brother. Not ever hearing Taylor had a brother before, she's very skeptical. But Lyle tells her things only a brother would know and she lets him in, unknowingly letting a very dangerous dude into their apartment and into their lives.
