Date snatchers will get the hint if you're hugged up on your honey. Lean in close, wrap them in your arms and that should send off any other guys or gals.
2. Stand by Your Man (or Woman)
Station yourself physically between your date and date snatcher. Block their line of vision. Most intruders won't go after someone they can barely see.
3. Suggest They Take a Hike
Tell the other guy or girl in the vicinity that there's free brew or grub at the bar or beach across the street. That'll probably leave you alone with your catch.
