Phantom Planet vocalist Alex Greenwald describes how booze became a zombie's best friend during the "Big Brat" video shoot:
"I cast all of my close friends as the zombies for the music video. We had make-up artist Tony Gardner (who did Michael Jackson's "Thriller") come down to help make everyone un-dead. Application of the makeup took about two hours on each person, so alcohol was consumed by a lot of people to help the time go by more quickly. It took so long that many got drunk by the time their makeup was finished. So, when it was time to shoot, some of my friends were having trouble walking straight. I thought it made them better zombies, so it worked out perfectly. If you look carefully you might find a couple zombies stumble and fall over, and another zombie just plain passes out. It's hilarious. I had a great time doing it."
