"Some girls define their lives by a sorority, but this sorority is defined by our lives."

Founded in 1994, Zeta Sigma Phi was the first multi-cultural sorority to be established at our school in Los Angeles. Focusing on the ideals of Knowledge, Color, Beauty, and Power, the Sisterhood was established to make a difference to enhance the lives of strong, smart, and beautiful women, to transform the image of the "typical" sorority girl, and to empower women in reaching their academic goals while enriching their social and philanthropic lives at school and in the surrounding community. Sisters of Zeta Sigma Phi have been known to be Dean's Scholars, Thematic Option students, members of Order of the Torch, various national honor societies and National Dean's List, Resident Advisors, Valedictorians, officers of various student organizations, and represents a DIVERSE group of cultures such as Hispanic, Chinese, African-American, Caucasian, Japanese, Hawaiian, Korean, Thai, Irish, Italian, Indian, and Filipino.
Each year Zeta Sigma Phi focuses on academics, culture, and enriching social/community life through various activities such as study hours, volunteering for various charitable events such as Project Angel Food, fundraising events, exchanges with various fraternities and sororities of all backgrounds, Mother/Daughter Brunch, our Alumni Career Mentor Program, Senior Tea, retreats, and our most prideful event, Spring Cultural Night.
