The end date of the Promotion may change due to amendments in the on-air schedule, and unforeseen preemptions or additions to the number of original episodes. If this occurs, MTVN will use commercially reasonable efforts to post notice on MTV.com.

3. Registration / Selecting Team: "Entrants" may register for the Promotion beginning at or around 12:00 PM, noon (EST) on October 4, 2004. Entrants must be registered users of MTV.com and must complete all of the required fields of "The Fantasy Challenge" Promotion Registration Form at MTV.com ("Registration"). Entrants will not be allowed to register during Frozen Periods (see Section #5). During Registration, Entrants will also be required to select (6) six members from the cast of the "Real World/Road Rules Battle of the Sexes 2" (each a "Cast Member") to make up their initial "Fantasy Challenge" Team ("Team"). Each Entrant will then be the "manager" of his/her Team and the "Real World/Road Rules Battle of the Sexes 2" cast members he/she chooses will be deemed their Team Members ("Team Members").

Limit one (1) Team per person and/or email address. Registration requires that Entrants provide personal information (including name, address and phone number for prize fulfillment purposes).

4. Changing Teams: Entrants may change their Team line-up by trading Cast Members. Entrants must have at least six Team Members on their Teams at all times. A trade is accomplished when an Entrant trades one Team Member on his/her Team for any other Cast Member who is not already on his/her team (a "Trade"). A Trade may be made at any time excluding during Frozen Periods. For the first fifteen (15) days of the Promotion, from October 4, 2004 to October 18, 2004, Entrants will be permitted to make an unlimited number of Trades (the "Free Trading Period"). After October 18, 2004, Entrants will only be permitted to make six (6) additional Trades during the remainder of the Promotional Period. The Free Trading Period will end at 9:45 p.m. ET on October 18, 2004 when the Frozen Period begins.

Note: An Entrant will only earn points for a given Cast Member as long as such Cast Member is currently on his/her Team (i.e., once a Cast Member is traded, an Entrant will not earn points retroactively) and provided that such Team Member is designated "Starting" status (see Section 6).

Incomplete or inaccurate Registration forms / Trades are void.

5. Frozen Periods: "Real World/Road Rules Battle of the Sexes 2" is scheduled to air every Monday night at 10:00 PM ET/PT, 9:00 PM CT beginning on October 11, 2004 and continuing through January 24, 2005. During the Program's scheduled airing, Monday is considered "game day." Entrants must have all Trades to their Teams made by 9:45 PM ET each Monday prior to airing of the upcoming Episode. Teams will be "frozen" from 9:45 PM ET on Mondays through approximately 6:00 PM ET on Tuesdays during the Promotion Period (the "Frozen Period"). MTVN is not responsible for technical difficulties that may extend Frozen Periods. During Frozen Periods, Entrants will not be allowed to make changes to their Teams (no Trades will be accepted and Entrant's will not be allowed to change a Cast Member's status (as hereinafter described). Entrants need to assign a "status" to each of their Cast Members. Cast Members can be deemed either a) "Starting" meaning they are in the "Starting Lineup" or b) "On the Bench". Cast Members will only earn points for their actions if their status is selected as "Starting."

6. Earning Points / Scoring: During the Promotion Period, Entrants will earn points based on actions and activities that Cast Members in the Program complete each week (as outlined below). Entrants will be eligible to earn points from a Cast Member only if such cast member is a current Team Member on his/her Team and provided that such Team Member's status (as chosen by the Entrant) is deemed "Starting." Each time a Cast Member receives points, all Entrants who currently have such Cast Member on their Team will earn the designated number of points for the current week's Episode. The goal of the Game is for an Entrants' Team to earn as many points as possible on a weekly and cumulative basis during the Promotion Period.

Crying
Points are scored each time a Cast Member cries. A Cast Member can score Crying points from "boo hoo" crying where tears are visible. If tears are indiscernible but Cast Member demonstrates crying "symptoms," this also counts as "Crying." Crying symptoms include: sniffling, whimpering, tears welling up, voice quivering as if he/she is going to burst into tears at any second. Waterworks are not always visible. Points will only be awarded for a single occurrence of crying (e.g. If a cast member begins to cry before the commercial break and continues to cry after the commercial break, this only counts as one instance, even though the same event may be shown several times throughout the Episode.) Crying does not count if it occurs during a flashback sequence (See "Flashback").
10
Fighting/
Tantrums
Points are scored each time a Cast Member is an active participant in a verbal or physical fight. Being an on-looker when a fight occurs does not count. For the purposes of the Game a "Fight" can be verbal or physical. Fights can include (but are not limited to) screaming, yelling, storming out of a room, punching, having a verbal alteration, heavy eye-rolling, getting "up in someone's business," etc. Fights can occur with a cast member or non-cast member. A verbal fight may or may not include screaming or raised voices. A "Tantrum" normally only involves one person where no one else is fighting back. Tantrum evidence includes screaming, freaking out, pointing fingers, having a breakdown, going off on someone, threatening crew with a machete, generally losing your sh*t, etc. Fighting/Tantrums do not count if they occur during a flashback sequence (See "Flashback").

Fighting/Tantrums do not count if they occur in footage that was previously aired. Points only count for the first instance.
15
Hugs
and
Kisses
Points are scored each time a Cast Member is the giver or receiver of a hug or kiss--this includes friendly, platonic kisses (e.g. kisses on the cheek) and it also includes short, neat, lip-touching kisses (any kiss that is "sloppy" or is a "French kiss" would fall under the "Making Out/Hooking Up" category). An arm around someone's shoulder does not count as a hug unless the initial contact starts with a hug and then phases into a more casual arm around shoulder. "Man hugs" also count in this category. A man hug is what guys do when they want to show love for each other in a macho way. The man hug starts as a handshake or hand clasp and then transitions into a hug-like gesture which involves pulling the other person closer, usually resulting in one arm around the other person. This cannot just be a high five or a handshake. Hugs/Kisses do not count if they occur in footage that was previously aired. Points only count for the first instance.
2
Hooking Up/
Showmance
Points are scored when a Cast Member hooks up, makes out or is involved in a "showmance."
Hooking Up includes participating in an "open mouth" kiss, a major kissing session or an implied session. This includes French kissing, making out, and hard-core smooching. This category also includes any other sexual contact or when more than kissing is implied (e.g. we see a couple getting into bed and they pull the covers over their heads as sexy music plays and the scene fades to black).
Evidence that a couple is having a "showmance" also counts in this category. A "showmance" is when two people are having a romance on a reality show. Evidence of a showmance would involve spending lots of time together, other people speculating that you're a couple, hand-holding, etc. A couple can only receive points for a showmance once during the season. So, if they are having an ongoing relationship throughout the show, they will only get "showmance" points once during the episode where their showmance is revealed or focused on.
Kisses on the cheek don't count in this category (see "Hugs & Kisses"). Hooking Up/Making Out does not count if it occurs during a flashback sequence (See "Flashback").
Hooking Up/Making out does not count if they occur in footage that was previously aired. Points only count for the first instance.
20
Nudity
Points are scored each time a Cast Member bares a part of his/her body which is normally covered up by undergarments--blurring of the picture must occur.
Nudity does not count if it occurs in footage that was previously aired. Points only count for the first instance.
17
Cursing
Points are scored each time a Cast Member says a curse word in which "bleeping" or audio "dropping" is required. "Bleeping" occurs when a word is said that violates the FCC or MTV's standards of what's acceptable to say on MTV. The word may be either "bleeped" or "dropped." Bleeping occurs when a tone is used to cover up a word. Dropping occurs when the audio is lowered completely so you don't hear the word, or a portion of the word, at all.
Cursing does not count if it occurs in footage that was previously aired. Points only count for the first instance.
3
Trash-Talking
Points are scored each time a Cast Member trash-talks a person from the opposite team or the entire opposite team. Trash-talking MUST be in a competition sense. (e.g. If the Cast Member is a Female team member, she can trash-talk someone on Guys' team or the entire Guys' team.) It is NOT possible to trash-talk someone on your own team. Trash-talking applies ONLY to competition--bad-mouthing, gossiping or talking negatively about someone personally does not count. (If Veronica says, "I can't stand Eric," that would not count.)
Trash-talking would include things like the following: "The guys are so much stronger than the girls' team. We're going to kick the girl's asses!" Rooting or cheering for your team does not count as trash talking. If Angela says something like, "the girls totally have this one in the bag," that would not be counted as trash-talking because there was nothing stated about the opposite team. If she were to say, "The girls totally have this in the bag...the guys suck!" then that would count as trash-talking.
Intonation counts. If Eric says, "The girls are real winners." This alone could be a compliment but if it's said in a sarcastic way with a roll of the eyes, it would count as Trash Talking.
Trash-talking does not count if it occurs in footage that was previously aired. Points only count for the first instance.
5
Phone Clue Reader
Points will be given to the cast member(s) who reads the clue about the upcoming mission (or any other message), that is sent to the cast via the Verizon Wireless phone. It is possible that more than one cast member will read the same message (i.e. Coral begins reading the message then it cuts to the boys team and Mark finishes reading the message. Both Coral and Mark would receive points). To receive points, cast members must actually READ the message. Receiving the message or just being present while someone is reading the message does not count. Holding the phone does not count. Making a comment about the clue does not count. Rephrasing the clue does not count.
The phone clue does not count if it occurs in footage that was previously aired. Points only count for the first instance.
7
Jonny Talk
"Jonny Talk" points are awarded each time a cast member addresses Jonny and uses his name in the sentence. For example, if Jonny is explaining the rules and Aneesa says, "Jonny, this is hard!" then that would count as Jonny Talk. The cast member has to be speaking to Jonny directly, in person AND use his name in the sentence. If someone is talking about Jonny but not to him, it doesn't count. If someone says Jonny's name while Jonny is present, but isn't talking to Jonny, it does not count.
Jonny Talk does not count if it occurs in footage that was previously aired. Points only count for the first instance.
9
Getting Injured
Points are scored each time a Cast Member gets injured at anytime during the show. The injury can occur during a challenge or when the Cast Member is just hanging around. An injury includes everything from minor bleeding to broken bones or being hospitalized for any reason. Injuries need to be referred to in the show somehow. If someone is limping but the limping is not mentioned in the show, it doesn't count. If someone has a band-aid on their finger, but we don't know how they got the band-aid, it doesn't count. A good example of an injury would be when Coral got bitten by the spider in The Gauntlet or when Trishelle took a spill while mountain biking. An injury does not count if it occurs in footage that was previously aired. Points only count for the first instance.
18
Refusal to Participate/ Missing a Mission
Points are scored each time a Cast Member refuses to participate in a challenge competition or does not compete for any reason. Reasons to refuse participation can range from "religious reasons" to "fear of heights" or "doctor's note", etc. If a person misses a mission because they cannot physically participate, even if they want to participate, it also counts for this category (i.e. when Leah's doctor wouldn't let her participate in any competitions that involved heights.). If a person is absent for a Challenge (prior to being voted off) they would also receive points in this category.
Refusal to Participate does not count if it occurs in footage that was previously aired. Points only count for the first instance.
15
Flashback
A flashback refers to "flashback footage" of something that happened on a previous season of Real World, Road Rules or The Real World/Road Rules Challenge. Points are scored each time a cast member appears in footage from a previous season. It does not include instant replays or replaying incidents within the same episode or flashbacks of anything from the current season. If another action which falls within a point category occurs within the flashback (e.g. Crying, Fighting, etc.), points will not be scored for those categories, only for the Flashback itself.
13
Bodily Function
Points are scored each time a Cast Member does a bodily function including (but not limited to) one of the following: Vomiting, Farting, Burping, Snot-Rocketing, Peeing and Spitting.
A bodily function does not count if it occurs in footage that was previously aired. Points only count for the first instance.
12
Foul Play
Foul Play can only occur during a Challenge competition and includes anytime someone cheats to win or is suspected of cheating, uses physical force in a nasty way, or is accused of overall shadiness during a mission. If a cast member (or an entire team) intentionally performs poor in a challenge to "throw" the mission, this is counted as Foul Play. Points are scored each time a Cast Member uses Foul Play, is accused or suspected of Foul Play.
Foul Play does not count if it occurs in footage that was previously aired. Points only count for the first instance.
11
DQ/Penalty
A DQ or Penalty can only happen during a challenge competition. If a cast member gets disqualified from a mission because they inadvertently break the rules of the competition--without malice intent--this counts as a disqualification. If a cast member receives a DQ in a mission, it doesn't necessarily mean that they don't finish the mission--many times it means that the person will receive a penalty of some sort (i.e. Jonny will add an additional minute to the cast member's overall time). Each time a cast member receives a DQ/Penalty, they receive 5 Fantasy Points.
A DQ does not count if it occurs in footage that was previously aired. Points only count for the first instance.
5
Winning Team
Every cast member who is on the week's winning team will receive Winning Team points. Each week, either the girls' team will win or the boys' team will win. Everyone who is on the winning team will receive points.
2

Note: Entrants will only earn points once for a single occurrence of an activity. For example, for crying, if a Cast Member begins to cry before the commercial break and continues to cry after the commercial break, this only counts as one occurrence, even though the same event may be shown several times throughout the Episode. Another example may include "hooking-up" or making out where an Entrant will receive points while the couple is together (regardless of how many kisses or how long the hook-up or make-out occurs). In this type of activity, once the couple has completely walked away from each other, they can then come back together later for a second make-out or hook-up section and you would receive additional points. Again, if a couple begins making-out before a commercial break and then they continue their make-out session after the break, this will only count as one occurrence.

All point scoring, activity classifications, interpretation of the point scoring categories and other judgment calls are at the sole discretion of MTVN and may not be disputed. MTVN decisions will be considered final on all aspects of the Promotion. MTVN reserves the right to change the point values earned and activities which yield points at any time. Notice of such changes will be posted on MTV.com.

Entrants can visit MTV.com every Tuesday during the Promotion Period to check their point scores from the previous night's Episode. Scores will be posted on or about 6:00 PM (EST) every Tuesday.

7. Winner Determination: Three (3) cumulative prizes will be awarded at the end of the Game: one (1) Entrant whose Team has the highest cumulative point total for the entire Promotion Period will be awarded the Grand Prize, one (1) Entrant whose Team has the second highest cumulative point total for the entire Promotion Period will be awarded the First Runner Up prize and one (1) Entrant whose team has the third highest cumulative point total for the entire Promotion Period will receive the Second Runner Up prize (collectively, the "Cumulative Prizes").

Weekly prizes will be awarded each week to Entrants who have earned the highest number of points for the corresponding week's Episode (the "Weekly Prizes"). If there are five (5) prizes available for a given week then Weekly Prizes will be awarded to the five (5) Entrants who have the highest Weekly Point totals for that week's Episode.

In the event of a tie for either a Weekly Prize or a Cumulative Prize, winners will be selected in a random drawing from among all tied Entrants tied for a respective prize. Random drawings will be accomplished under the supervision of an independent judging agency whose decisions in all matters are final.

In the event of an airing / broadcasting time change for an Episode, MTVN reserves the right to change the air date and the time of a Frozen Period for any given Episode. Such changes will be posted on MTV.com. In the event the Promotion is terminated early, the Cumulative Prize will be awarded based on the points earned by Entrants as of the date of the premiere airing of the last Episode. In the event that any Weekly Prizes cannot be awarded due to changes in the on-air schedule, these will be awarded in a random drawing from among all Entrants registered for the Promotion.
