My name is Jaime Lee Gleicher and I was born on January 17, 1985 (which makes me a Capricorn) in Manhattan, New York. I lived in Manhattan until age 4 when I moved to Tenafly, NJ, and then moved back to Manhattan at age 14. I pursued a musical theatre career when I was younger which is why I attended high school at the Professional Children’s School in NYC, where I was Student Body President and Student Body Vice President. I recently graduated with honors, won the Betty Ivey Martin Award for Outstanding Service to the School and was a recipient of the New York Lottery Leaders for Tomorrow scholarship. I’ve been in numerous musical theatre productions in and around NYC, and I got the chance to perform on Broadway in RENT through doing work with the charity, Broadway Cares Equity Fights AIDS. I have been very passionate about my writing since I have been very young, and I am in the midst of writing my first novel which I hope to publish in the near future. I hope to one day write a screenplay or dramatic play and produce it. I also want to continue my acting career either on stage or on the big screen. I love the fashion and retail industry, and I love to shop. I now attend Barnard College which is part of Columbia University here in NYC, where I will probably major in English, Women’s Studies or Film. I love Sex and The City and The Osbournes. I am so proud to be a producer of Rich Girls--it has been an incredible, life-changing and fulfilling experience. |
