MTV: What kind of cars do you have?
X: Currently, I drive the H2 Hummer and the S500 Mercedes Benz.

MTV: Is there any reason you chose those cars?
X: I chose the H2 because I was in love with it when it was a concept car and I chose the S500 because I have to have an everyday car. The H2 is kind of tricked out--like to the full extent. I spent more on the inside of the car than the car is actually worth. So, I gotta drive something everyday which is the S500.

MTV: How did you find the H2 as a concept car?
X: I saw the H2 in [a car] report before it even came out and it was a concept car then. I actually called the 800-number to see if I could buy it and be one of the first ones to have it, but it didn't work out like that. So, I had to get it from West Coast.

MTV: How important is it to have the first car out?
X: I don't try to keep up with the Joneses and be trendy like that. So, what I do is I really pick out something I like. I don't have to have the first car that comes out but the H2 was different. I really really liked that car.

MTV: How tricked out are your vehicles?
X: There are TVs in all of my cars. Right now I have the most modern thing in my Benz, which is a touch screen. Instead of having a remote control to work everything in the car, you have to work things by touching the screen. It makes things a little more convenient. That's the best thing I got going.

MTV: Talk to us about your Hummer?
X: The inside of my Hummer has four Audiobahn amps, 4000-watt speakers, a 10-inch monitor in the front, all after-market woodwork, suede interior from front to back, everything chrome, and 26-inch rims. It's big dog and over the top.

MTV: What were your old rims?
X: I had 24-inch Oasis rims but they figured out a way to make it great for me. They put the 26s on. Best thanks to Doug Magazine because they were the first ones to put the 26s out there that really fit the H2.

MTV: What kind of rims are on the Hummer now?
X: The kind of rims I have are made by Doug Magazine and they are Doug's 26-inch rims.

MTV: Growing up, did you ever work on cars yourself?
X: Growing up, I was never interested in getting under the hood working on my own vehicles. I only like getting in them and driving them.

MTV: Now, do you ever get under the hood?
X: No, right now, I barely have time to breathe let alone work on a car. I leave it up to the folks down at West Coast Customs. They do pretty good with all that. MTV: Does West Coast Customs handle all your cars? X: I wouldn't go anywhere else to have cars worked on except West Coast Customs. I've had cars done at other places and they haven't come out half as good. I'm sold. Anytime I get a new car, I'll bring it right here.

MTV: It's good that you have a show that takes place at West Coast Customs then?
X: It does help that I have a show on MTV dealing with cars and I have a car shop to bring them to.

MTV: Did you ever think that you would be doing a show about cars?
X: No, I never thought that I would be doing a TV show about cars. But this is definitely one of my passions and one of my hobbies. So, as soon as I found out about it, it was a domino effect. They invited me down and it was a match made in heaven.

MTV: A natural fit then?
X: Yes. Me, my cars, the shop, the Hummers, it's over.

MTV: What's the best thing about having a sweet ride?
X: The best ting about having dope ride is--I wouldn't say the attention--but the accomplishment. Having something that you use on a regular basis looking nice and made to your expectations and just enjoying it.

MTV: What do you go shopping for in a car?
X: It's all about the space and comfort of the car. For me, it's all about big spacious cars not the little fast and furious cars. I enjoy a good car when it's put together. For me, it's about the style of the car. I'm not impressed by everything that's new. I'm the kind of guy that has a sports car, an SUV, and an everyday car.

MTV: So, what's your sports car?
X: I'm not gonna tell. I'm working on something, working on a new sports car. Because Dr. Dre busted out that Ferrari on everyone and everyone had to go back to the drawing board and put it together. I'm coming, Dre, I'm coming.

MTV: What will the fans of Pimp My Ride see?
X: The fans will have exclusive, exclusive first views of all my whips. So, before they see them on the streets of L.A., they'll see them on MTV.

MTV: Have you ever gotten busy in your car?
X: Have I ever gotten busy in my car? Yes, and that's the end of the story.

MTV: How do the drivers in L.A. stack up to the rest of the country?
X: Man, I gotta tell you the truth--we have bumper to bumper traffic everyday from 3 to 6 so if you want to drive fast, its gotta be at 6:00 a.m. and then it's over at noon. Also, the weather is superb out here so when it rains everyone is freaking out. The weather conditions spoil us out here; so, I would have to say there are better drivers elsewhere.

MTV: What's your ultimate dream car?
X: My ultimate dream car is the new Rolls Royce. I love that car. That's the kind of car where you to take your shoes off just to get in it. And when you pull off it's all luxury. I gotta get one of those. Third season, I'll be asking MTV to just go ahead and send one of those to the house.

MTV: How much does that car cost?
X: About $350,000 but that's chump change for MTV. Come on, man.

MTV: What does a car say about the man behind the wheel?
X: The car says one or two things about the man behind the wheel. First thing, you own that car. Then, you better not dent my [car] you valet parker.

MTV: What's the first car that you owned?
X: The very first car that I owned was a 1993 Geo Tracker with black and purple stripes on it. It had an old school kicker speaker box in the back and me and my friends used to drive around in that car and think that we were [like] the Dukes of Hazzard. We would jump in and rip down the street. It was crazy.

MTV: When was the last time you were in a Geo Tracker?
X: 1993

MTV: What's the coolest accessory in a car?
X: The coolest accessory that I've seen in a car has to be the touch screen that I have in the Benz right now. I'm so used to remotes but you can just exit right out of that. It has Internet access. I can check my emails. You can damn near just live in the car now. The touch screen operates the stereo, Internet access, can be programmed to control the air conditioning, heating, and the DVD and CD player. They're creating a satellite that's small enough to put on a car that will get DirectTV. Yeah, I can order fights right there in the car.

MTV: Any last words?
X: Watch Pimp My Ride. This has been X to the Z ibit.
