Sharon: OK, Jack. Jacks gets on with everyone. He gets on with both his sisters. He gets on with everyone. He's a pretty cool guy. He's very easygoing, very, very mellow, hates to be shouted at. He lives for music, that's his entire life.
MTV: Has he made a lot of friends in L.A.?
Sharon: His main circle of friends are pepople at record companies and bands. Not kids, he was friends with kids at school, but he didn't socialize with them. They don't, you know, they don't hang. And, you know, Jack isn't one of these kids that'll hang at the mall and go see movies. That's not his life.
MTV: What are some of the things he likes to do?
Sharon: Well, Jack has a weight problem, as do i, so he's always got to watch his weight, unfortunately for him. And he, um, works out four times a week. But he's like me, he just likes to eat s**t. I mean, if we had a choice of a McDonald's or going to some fancy restaurant, we'd go to the drive-in at McDonald's. There are hamburger places on every corner in this town. It's convenience food, you know. It's so easy to go in and just pick up something. He's actually a good cook. If there's any cooking done in this house, either Jack does it or Ozzy does it.
MTV: What will they cook?
Sharon: Well, he'll get some nice chicken breasts and he flattens them out and he'll put them in the pan. I don't know where he gets it from 'cause he doesn't get it from me. And he'll stir fry vegetables. He must have learned that at school cause he didn't learn it here!
MTV: How about Ozzy? What's his cooking specialty?
Sharon: Ozzy's favorite thing years ago when we were first dating, he used to make stews. And everything used to go into these stews. And then I would find out he was putting drugs in the stew and it would have, you know, lovely fresh potatoes and broccoli and all kinds of stuff. And then I'd get to act all crazy and I'd end up at the end of the evening, like, breaking up the whole apartment. And I couldn't control my emotions. So it wasn't until months later that he told me he was putting drugs in the stew. So, it took me a while to get over that, you know, and I would eat his food for a while.
