Greetings. I’m Damien Fahey and I’m on television (I know, I don’t know how this happened either). I grew up in Massachusetts and always wanted my job to include music in some way. When I was 14 I emptied my entire savings account and bought stereo equipment to build a mock radio station in my bedroom. My parents were pissed, but I felt I just had to do it. After spending hours and hours alone in my bedroom with my radio station, I lost all social skills, but I received an on-air job at a local radio station where I was a DJ for four years. Then I got into Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts and received another part-time radio gig at Kiss 108 in Boston. After working there for three years, MTV came to the station to audition for the next VJ. I started at the Beach House in New Jersey during the summer of 2002 and have been on board ever since. I love music and talking about music and making music. I also have to give a shout-out to my Boston homey, Conan O’Brien! I’m a very big fan. Thanks for watching. Thanks for caring.
