How did you get started in the game?
Honestly, it was in the third grade. I was doing something crazy in class and the teacher made me write about the topic, "Stop, Think and Listen." It sounds a bit corny when I think about it today, but it was the first time I ever tried to rhyme based on a subject given to me. Instead of writing a general paper like everyone else in class, I decided to rap about it. I have been rapping ever since.
What is your goal as an artist?

What is your favorite Rap Group?
My favorite rap groups by far are Outkast and Wu Tang Clan.
What's your favorite old school artist?
My favorite "old school" artists are KRS-One, Will Smith and Biz Markie.
If you could change anything about Hip-Hop what would it be? And why?
I would definitely change the diversity of style. I would like to see more artists take risks. For example, it seems like all of the more popular artists sound alike and talk about the same things: money, jewels, sex, drugs, etc. It just feel like it's time for something new.
I'd like to see the change because from my reality, there seems to be so much more to talk about and focus on.
What is on your mind as you're battling someone?
My mind is full with a tornado of instant punch lines about that individual and the fact that I want to win. I think about, "If I could just win, I won't have to come back to work tomorrow in this dirty steel mill!"
What does Hip-Hop mean to you?
Hip-hop is a poetic expression of one's feelings.
