Decisions about sex education are often made by your local school board. If you think your school is censoring the information you get in sex education class--teaching only about abstinence and withholding information about contraception and condoms, then take action! You have a right to all of the information that can help you safeguard your health and save your life.
If a policy decision is going to affect young people, shouldn't you have a say in the debate? Comprehensive sex education--education that includes information about both abstinence and contraception is under attack. In its place is a federal policy funding abstinence-only-until marriage programs--programs that censor information about contraception and condoms. Think this is wrong? Then make your voice heard!
