Fight For Your Rights show

Current federal law allows prosecution of hate crimes based on race, color, religion or national origin, and does not include crimes based on gender, sexual orientation or disability. In a recent national poll, MTV found that 82 percent of young adults believe that the law should cover all people who are victims of violence. If you agree, e-mail your elected officials telling them to pass comprehensive federal hate crimes legislation now. First let President Bush and Vice President Richard Cheney know how you feel, then tell the members of Congress.
