Building 6 is also known as the Great Hall. This room was used to store the beer once it was brewed. The underground vault remains at a constant 60 degrees--the perfect refrigeration temperature for the beer. However, this vault was also witness to one of Frederick Jr.'s darkest secrets.
Frederick Jr. was a known ladies' man. Rumor has it that one night, Frederick Jr. raped and impregnated a Boettger maid, Mary. He forced her to go to a black market abortionist who butchered her insides, yet failed to abort the child. The doctor severely mangled the unborn child during the process.
Frederick Jr. kept his deformed son a secret from the rest of his family and the world. He locked the child, whom he called Monkey Boy, in a cage that he suspended from the ceiling in this room.
This hanging cage has remained untouched for over 60 years. Psychics have refused to go near this cage and have warned that even touching it could have dire results. Psychics believe the disfigured boy's spirit still haunts this room, protecting his cage, wary that intruders have returned to torture him yet again.
This is the very cage that Monkey Boy died in, and where his bones were found. Many paranormal investigators have distinctly heard the cage rattle and shake while exploring this room. They believe it is the ghost of Monkey Boy guarding his cage. One investigator stepped in to examine the cage when he felt a sharp pain in his hand. Later, he developed bruises on his hand that looked as if an animal had bitten him.
