Step 1:
Bend copper into S shape coils. Make about thirty coils.

Step 2:
Lightly spray paint the coils silver.

Step 3:
Pre-make a headboard base with one inch copper tubing, tees and forty-five degree elbows.

Step 4:
Start placing the copper coils inside the headboard. Make sure there is overlapping on the sides in order to attach the coils with wire.

Step 6:
Lace the wire through the copper coils and around the tubing. Secure the wire by bending it around itself. Trim off the excess wire with pliers and bend copper back under.

Step 7:
Repeat these last two steps until all the coils have been attached securely to the tubing.

Step 8:
Stand the finished headboard up against the wall.
