Controversial Video controversy
I would love to tell you what I thought of the showing of the MTV2 Most Controversial Video Countdown, unfortunately the piece of s**t cable company pulled the plug on your transmission at about 9:57 ....I had a tape in the VCR to record the show so I know the signal was fine at 9:55; the time I programmed the tape machine to begin recording. A few minutes into an attractive young lady introducing videos your signal went to static... It's too bad you can't get these worthless companies on a no cut contract, If there is program feed from the network they SHOULD have to carry it , no censoring the content....That is what my remote control is for. That is why TV's now have parental control devices built into them( if your such a lazy and uninvolved parent that you don't keep an eye on your kids you can at least stop them from watching The Playboy Channel or MTV,,,,,oh don't get me started) I see this as a freedom of speech issue( yours and my right to view said material)...The cable company's freedom of speech should not trump ours.. I have to go now ....While I'm still hoppin mad I'm going to find the cable companies website and e-mail address and tear them a new ass****. Thanx for all the years of excellent music.
