In my eyes, Carson definitely needs to get a huge toast. He has acheived so much in his career, but he has made such an impact on MTV itself. The reason for this is simply TRL. When the show started in 1998, it was just a small countdown show, but with Carson's charismatic personality and outstanding music knowledge, the show was able to grow into the pop culture phenomenon that it is today. TRL is, and never will be the same without Carson as the host. He is probably the reason that a lot of people watch MTV/TRL. Like Dick Clark was for American Bandstand for that generation, Carson is for ours.

Here in Arizona, we cannot get enough of Carson Daly! While on vacation in NY last summer, me and my friends came to a TRL show. Carson was a little shy, but very friendly. Obviously fame has not changed him. I even asked for a handshake as he walked backstage after the show and he gladly stuck out his hand and said, "Hey, what's up?" Carson appears to be a normal guy and that is why we all love to see him on TRL. His "Boy Next Door" attitude and looks make people feel that they can relate to Carson, unlike many other faces seen on television today. We love Carson!

TRL would never have been the same without Carson. He's been the only host who has actually known what they were doing. Half the time the celebrities who are on the show don't know what to do and are so nervous that they mess up every 5 seconds. Even other VJ's. But Carson has done numerous shows, nearly flawless and always smiling. I've heard a lot of people diss him, but I always disagree. Carson is an awesome VJ and definitely should stay around for a long time. Good luck Carson, you're the best!!

Since way back when TRL started he always seemed to be a cool guy. Probably one of few people who really doesn't get a big head and remains grounded in the world. The most intriguing quality about Carson is that he's raw and real. He would never bull about stuff and keep things on the show. From his Last Call to the radio, that quality remained. He knows who he is and doesn't try to conform. Carson Daly is a wholesome, caring, funny guy who knows how to live life. Respectable man. Everyone has their flaws, ups and downs and he's not afraid to admit that. Best of luck.
