INTRO
The rock scene soon morphed into numerous genres, spawning hybrid bands and musical styles, from No Doubt's ska rock to Marilyn Manson's alternative industrial rock. During these years, anything could--and probably did--happen. Beck and the Foo Fighters constantly re-invented themselves in innovative ways, while Bush stuck to more traditional, mainstream rock.
In this atmosphere of "anything goes," Rage Against The Machine kept rock relevant by championing causes and staying politically motivated. Their message? Don't be apathetic.
