By now, you’ve probably heard Ariana Grande’s “Dangerous Woman” enough times to know every seductive coo, every earth-shattering vocal run, and every sultry frame of its accompanying music video. But you know what? Throw everything you know about the track out the window, because Ari’s about to give it a thrilling, Broadway-esque makeover when she performs live at the MTV Movie Awards this Sunday.
“I’m very excited to be performing a different rendition of ‘Dangerous Woman’ with one of my favorite Broadway composers on the planet, Jason Robert Brown,” Ari told MTV News on Friday. “It’s more character-y and I’m excited to just have fun, play dress-up, and do a different version of it.”
While she didn’t want to divulge too much about what fans can expect to see on stage (some surprises are worth waiting for, Arianators!), she did spill some insight into the track’s upcoming second music video.
“There’s one more [video] coming. I’m excited about it,” Ariana said. “This one’s more cinematic and weird and tells a story. It’s very different from the first one. I wanted to do a sexy, simple, more glamorous video, which was visual one. And then the second one is very different… it’s very weird.”
