tour next month, weren't too far behind.

Since 1997, the group has been writing earnest, emotional pop songs. It hit its stride in 1999 with The Man Who, a confessional batch of bittersweet tunes including the sumptuous "Why Does It Always Rain on Me?" Early this year, Travis hit the road in the U.S. with Dido to promote their new record, The Invisible Band, which features the single "Sing." And now, with the song singing up the charts, the group is returning for its own tour of clubs and theaters.

The 19-date outing kicks off in Canada with shows in Montreal on September 29 and Toronto on September 30. Then Travis will wind down the East Coast of the U.S., playing Washington, D.C., New York, Boston and Philadelphia before hitting the Midwest and the South. Travis will wind up their trek on the West Coast, ending in San Francisco on October 25.

Remy Zero will open for Travis at all shows.
