Native New Yorker Kim Stolz is no stranger to the entertainment industry. Dividing her time between roles as an MTV News correspondent and mtvU VJ, observant viewers with a keen eye will likely recognize her from cycle 5 of "America's Next Top Model."
Since joining MTV News, Kim has interviewed a virtual who's who in film, music and politics including The casts of "American Gangster" and "Juno," Fergie, Will Smith, Charlize Theron, Anne Hathaway, Pete Wentz, Nelly Furtado, Flo Rida, Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee and Senator John Edwards. She's welcomed Barack Obama into the MTV/MySpace Presidential Dialogue forum and covered the Clinton Global Initiative in New Orleans. In June 2008, Kim co-hosted the Live Pre-Show for the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles. In addition, Kim has interviewed the casts of "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian," "Speed Racer" and the sexy four of "Sex And The City: The Movie." When not consumed with the international implications of government actions, she can be found listening to electro-clash and indie pop music citing MGMT, The Knife, Ratatat, and Yeasayer as her favorite bands.
Kim graduated high school from The Brearley School in Manhattan and received her B.A. in Government from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut in 2005.
