We're guessing all the Grammy nominees out there are waiting with bated breath to see if they'll bring home the shiny-shiny on Sunday night. Well, we are, too — and let me tell you, we're a little less patient than Lorde, Macklemore and the rest.

Sure, we could just wait and see what happens on the day, but why bend to the whims of time and space when you have an astrologer on staff who will stargaze-it all out for you?

We've already consulted our Vegas oddsmaker friend -- who predicted that Macklemore will come out on top. Well, now MTV News has hit up out resident psychic Licorice Root, who put her eye to planets and her finger on the pulse of the 56th Grammy Awards.

Check out her predictions below:

Record Of The Year

» Daft Punk feat. Pharrell, "Get Lucky"
» Lorde, "Royals"
» Bruno Mars, "Locked Out of Heaven"
» Imagine Dragons, "Radioactive"
» Robin Thicke feat. T.I. and Pharrell, "Blurred Lines"

Licorice Root's Pick: Oh! I really want Daft Punk and Pharrell to "Get Lucky," but it seems to me that Lorde will be it! Saturn, the planet that rewards us for our hard work, is in the section of her chart ruling fame and recognition. Sorry, boys, but the stars suggest it will be this lady who is feeling like royalty on Sunday!

Album Of The Year

» Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, The Heist
» Daft Punk, Random Access Memories
» Taylor Swift, Red
» Kendrick Lamar, good kid m.A.A.d city
» Sara Bareilles, The Blessed Unrest

Licorice Root's Pick: Taylor Swift has too much commotion happening in her Natal Chart at this time for me not to acknowledge that she has very good astrological chance of going home with the Grammy for Red. However, Venus, the goddess of love and art, is in retrograde — and making me wonder if Sara Bareilles could surprise us.

Song Of The Year

» Lorde, "Royals"
» Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, "Same Love"
» Pink feat. Nate Ruess, "Just Give Me a Reason"
» Bruno Mars, "Locked Out of Heaven"
» Katy Perry, "Roar"

Licorice Root's Pick: Again, Lorde will Lorde over them all with "Royals"! Saturn on the midheaven — right at the top of the chart — will, well, take an artist to the top of the charts and send them home with awards.

Best New Artist

» Macklemore & Ryan Lewis
» Kendrick Lamar
» Kacey Musgraves
» Ed Sheeran
» James Blake

Licorice Root's Pick: Ed Sheeren is a safe bet, with lovely lady Venus talking to his Neptune. Neptune is not only the god of the Sea, but in astrology-speak, a code word for creativity and art. This is not the rarest of astrological occurrences, but with the chemistry going on in his chart, I'm excited to see how things play out. Grammy or no Grammy, he'll be partnering with interesting people creatively this year.

And On The Carpet

While Venus in retrograde is fun for walking down memory lane, it is not so fun for walking the red carpet. I think we'll see a lot of safe choices, paired with some mistakes people do not need to be making twice. As for Saturn in Scorpio, we can expect people to wear loads of black, and we may see or hear more memorials than usual.
