Lance Bass is "Walking On Air" on his new single. And, no, not it's not a cover of the Katy Perry track.

The former 'NYSNC member is giving fans new music, his first track in the decade-plus since the boy band disbanded, and he's brought Snoop Dogg along for the ride.

"Walking On Air" is an up-tempo dance tune with world music flourishes. Bass has enlisted Snoop to make an appearance on the track, which hits iTunes Tuesday (January 21). It also features appearances from Anise K and Bella Blue.

"These days, songs have to be played in clubs and this is one of those songs that you'll definitely hear in the club. I'm sure it will be remixed so many different times," Bass told E! News about the song, adding that as of right now he has no plans to perform it anytime soon.

However, fans should gear up for the video. Bass shared its release date on Instagram. "It's finally out!!!!! #walkingonair - I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed making it! Video will premiere Friday w @ryanseacrest," he wrote of the January 24 release date.

While Bass' former groupmates Justin Timberlake and JC Chasez have both tried to launch solo careers to varying degrees of success, this marks Bass' first big solo release. Last August he reunited with 'NSYNC at the VMAs.

In addition to working with Bass, Snoop is keeping busy. He recently teamed up with "Gangnam Style" star Psy. The SoCal rapper will make an appearance in the Korean rapper's upcoming music video, Billboard reports. Snoop reportedly also appears on Psy's upcoming album, due out in February.

The video will also include an appearance from BigBang singer/rapper G-Dragon. Judging by social media, the crew shot the video earlier this month and lots of plaid clothing is involved.
