Pop star and famed graffiti artist Justin Bieber has taken on a protégé. The singer was photographed spray-painting alongside "Fashion Police" host Kelly Osbourne on Wednesday night, hours after she confirmed her split from Matthew Mosshart.

It's unclear how the twosome ended up hanging out together, but from the looks of it, Osbourne had a pretty good time.

"Just had so much fun getting lessons from @justinbieber on how to #SprayPaint! Needless to say I was s--- all I did was the horns! Justin is a lovely boy and have turned me into a true #Belieber tonight!" she wrote on Instagram. "Most #Random but fun night with @justinbieber!"

While Bieber hasn't directly addressed their new friendship, he did open up about his passion for creating art. "Live your dream. be creative," he tweeted. "Art is everywhere."

The same day Osbourne tagged along with Bieber, a rep for the E! star confirmed in a statement that she had parted ways with her chef fiancé: "Kelly and Matthew have decided to end their engagement. The split is amicable and the pair continues to have nothing but the utmost respect for one another. Kelly is looking forward to a new year full of fresh beginnings. No further comments will be provided by all parties and we request privacy, decorum and space from the press but don't expect it."

Osbourne and Mosshart got engaged only last July. But the TV personality seemed to get philosophical about the breakup on Twitter, writing, "It's all about perception sometimes the bad things that happen in life aren't really bad at all especially when you learn something from it!"
