Kelly Clarkson got her "Happily Every After" started earlier this year on "Tie It Up" when she sang "Well, first comes love and then comes..." and on Tuesday (November 19), she brought that age-old rhyme to fruition with a big announcement: She's pregnant!

The Wrapped in Red singer took to Twitter to confirm that she is expecting her first child with husband Brandon Blackstock, who is the son of Clarkson's manager, Narvel Blackstock and the stepson of country superstar Reba McEntire.

"I'm pregnant!!! Brandon and I are so excited! Best early Christmas present ever :)," Clarkson tweeted, as fans flooded in with various forms of "Congratulations."

Just last month, Clarkson walked the aisle in a lace Temperley London dress to marry Blackstock in what looked to be a charming Tennessee wedding. Blackstock popped the question last December — with a Johnathon Arndt-designed canary diamond ring — after a nearly yearlong relationship.

And if her previous comments on her husband are any indication, it sounds like he'll be a great father. "I told my assistant that today. I said, 'I'm just waiting for something to blow up,' " she shared with Redbook last year. "She said, 'No, that's what happiness is.' I'm like, 'Maybe I've never been happy!' Because Brandon does, he makes me happy."

So, can we expect a follow-up to "Tie It Up" in the future? While it's too late for her Wrapped in Red Christmas album, we hope she'll carve out some time for it.
