You know you're doing something right when you make international news for just wearing clothes. Miley Cyrus switched it up on Thursday night at the Bambi Awards in Berlin, Germany, when she took the stage wearing a demure (for her) neon yellow outfit that showed just a hint of her belly and legs for a riveting performance of "Wrecking Ball."
Just hours before, it looked like it was going to be another night of barely-there hot pants, tongue wagging and crop tops when Miley posted a selfie on her way to the show in which she warned, "GERMANYYYY @bambi_awards here I come."
In fact, when she hit the red carpet, Miley looked downright demure in a space-age floor-length, black Jean Paul Gaultier gown with hoop-like flared cuffs that showed zero skin and was accented by a gold Lorraine Schwartz necklace with two oversized pearls.
After performed on the show, playing a raw, unplugged version of "Wrecking Ball" with accompaniment from three acoustic guitar players while seated on a stool center stage. And, unlike her instantly infamous joint-enhanced awards collection at Sunday night's 2013 MTV EMAs, Cyrus was smoke-free when she collected the Best International Pop act Bambi.
