He may have been a bit under the weather, but Justin Timberlake hit Hollywood hard Tuesday night with a medley of hits old and new for "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"
DJ Samantha Ronson was on deck to keep the throng of fans gathered on Hollywood Boulevard entertained while they waited an extra hour for Justin to take the stage.
He opened with "Take Back the Night" and "TKO," the first two offerings off The 20/20 Experience - 2 of 2, due out next week.
Timberlake teased the crowd with clever quips between songs, and introduced "Cry Me a River" with an unexpected anecdote. "Women are f---ing crazy," he declared to the screaming sea of fans, some who had been camped out since Paul McCartney's set the night before. "Sometimes you gotta let them know."
He paid homage to Legends of the Summer tourmate Jay Z by splicing in a short "N---as In Paris" interlude before jumping in to "Rock Your Body" and "Mirrors."
He fooled the crowd into thinking he was finished before he sang his ever- popular anthem, "SexyBack," but kept the dancing pretty light throughout the concert.
Prior to hitting the street for his show, he joked with Jimmy Kimmel about meeting Michael Jordan and Paul McCartney and boasted that the former Beatle was his iHeartRadio opener last weekend.
He may have just broken a seven-year music hiatus earlier this year, but judging by the bevy of devoted followers, it felt like no time has passed at all.
