Fergie and Josh Duhamel are probably stocking up on lots of blue these days. The actor has confirmed that he and his pregnant pop star wife are expecting a boy.
Duhamel is slated to appear on "Live With Kelly and Michael" on Wednesday, and in a short teaser released on Tuesday (July 16), he spills the beans about the baby's gender by picking out a blue onesie during a game of "Du or Don't Part II: Baby Edition."
The Black Eyed Peas singer and "Scenic Route" actor first announced they were expecting back in February. "Fergie and Me and BABY makes three.
#MyLovelyBabyBump," the couple wrote on their respective Twitter accounts at the time. The news of Fergie's pregnancy came after years of speculation about her midsection.
In October 2010, at the premiere of his family-themed dramedy "Life as We Know It," Duhamel said that Fergie would be a great mom, once she gained a bit more real-world experience. Fergie "[is] not afraid of children; she just hasn't had as much experience with little ones. She's great with kids when they grow up a little bit more, when she can interact with them," he said.
Meanwhile, his co-star Katherine Heigl noted that Josh is already great with kids. "Oh my God! The best of the best! He's fantastic," Heigl said at the time. "He's really good with children. They sort of flocked to him. I think it's a pheromone thing. I think he puts off, like, a chocolate-cookie scent to children. They love him."
That's not the only big news out of the Duhamel household. According to People, the singer (born Stacy Ferguson) will now officially go by Fergie Duhamel, having applied to legally change her name on July 10.
