"Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" returns for a second season on VH1 Monday (April 22) night and the episode begins with one of the most twisted storylines we've seen on reality TV in a while: the famed love triangle between Stevie J, Joseline Hernandez and Mimi Faust.
After last season's finale and reunion, it didn't seem like things could get any stranger between these three — but it does, and Joseline is still rolling with it. During a visit to our studios the "Love & Hip Hop" star told MTV News that she's totally cool with all of Stevie's antics.
"He's the same person all the time with me and I don't really pay attention to what Stevie does for the show, because outside of the show we have bigger plans," she said, when asked if she's offended by the different stories he spins to her and Mimi. "He's my manager and he makes me a lot of money so I'm not really tripping about what he talks about to his baby mama. I shouldn't even be in their conversation."
During the episode you'll see the producer get into tiffs with both Joseline and Mimi, but at least one of them isn't too upset about it because she knows how to retaliate.
"When I get mad at Stevie, I always fight him, but at the end of the day, everybody knows Stevie's not gonna let me go. He's gonna be back for his business and his personal life because he wouldn't know what to do without Joseline Hernandez, he'll go crazy," she said. "I fired him before, but that won't be happening anymore. When I have a personal issue with Stevie I'll just keep it at home — curse him out at home and keep doing business."
Clearly Joseline has this under control, and she also doesn't mind throwing insults in the direction of Stevie's longtime on-and-off again girlfriend Mimi Faust, who she calls a "maid" this season. "She cleans houses!" Joseline declares, when asked about the insult. "I'm a singer, hip-hop artist and a rapper so I don't clean. I pay people to come clean for me. When she calls me a prostitute and a stripper, I don't get upset, I embrace it. So embrace you being a maid."
"He called her a maid too, but he knows what's up — she a maid!"
The season premiere of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" airs at 8 p.m. on VH1.
