There are very few superstars who are as private as Beyoncé, but multi-award winner Adele might come close. So, with her show-stopping Oscars performance behind her and an Academy Award on her mantel, could the pop singer open up in her version of a "Life Is But A Dream" documentary?
"Maybe I'll do an HBO special like Beyoncé did," she told Billboard backstage at the Oscars when asked how she might complete her EGOT. (She's halfway there, having already nabbed plenty of Grammy Awards and now an Oscar.) So what would her plans be for the Tony Award to complete the set? She added, "And a Tony, I'm not so sure. Maybe someday I'll do a musical."
With so much love for musicals at the Seth MacFarlane-hosted Academy Awards this year, Adele may just have found her inspiration somewhere in there. And, her killer pipes were on full display during the Sunday night broadcast when she sparkled during her rendition of her James Bond theme song "Skyfall." She also took home a statue for Best Original Song with her producer Paul Epworth, whom she thanked "believing in me all the time."
They also worked together on her massive 21 track, "Rolling In The Deep." She added, "Sometimes it just happens great like it does with us. You just got to connect and hope for the best. Be really honest with whoever you are working with. I cried the first time when I talked to Paul about my ex and then 'Rolling in the Deep' happened."
