The 2013 Brit Awards are set to go live Wednesday (February 20) all the way across the pond at the O2 Arena in London. And the annual U.K. music awards show will boast some of the biggest performances from the music industry's shiniest stars since the Grammy Awards less than two weeks ago.

In anticipation of the glitzy event, MTV News is breaking down some of the most highly anticipated moments of the night, and what fans might expect to see when the show takes place in jolly ol' England.

Awkward Encounter
The guys of 1D are slated to perform their Comic Relief charity track, "One Way or Another," at the show. But, with Taylor Swift also on the docket for the awards ceremony, fans are concerned about a possible awkward run-in between Harry Styles and his ex. He told Grazia magazine, "I'm not worried about seeing her at all." Do we see extra security? There might be some special scheduling and extra finagling on the horizon...

Proper Style(s) and Class
Taylor Swift supposedly dissed Styles at the Grammys, so will she also get sassy at the Brits with him in attendance? Until fans tune in, we can make this prediction: Swift might break out some new music by performing her new "22" single — without any supposed British accents.

Like Looking In "Mirrors"
Justin Timberlake is expected to try out some more new music after he took the stage with his retro-tinged performance of "Suit & Tie" and "Pusher Love Girl" at the Grammys. He is rumored to play his lengthy track, "Mirrors,". We hope producers have carved out a solid eight minutes so that Timberlake can give viewers the full 20/20 Experience.

Righting A Wrong
After Adele was interrupted by the Brit's host during her speech last year, it prompted her to flip the bird. But Brits chairman David Joseph promises that the same thing won't happen again, should Adele win again this year. "I can hint that something is going to happen this year to right that wrong," he recently shared with The Guardian. Adele is up for British Single this year.
