He tweeted out the artwork for Believe Acoustic (out January 29) on Thursday, giving his fans an early holiday surprise. It features the singer in a denim jacket, holding, appropriately enough, an acoustic guitar. His message included, "January 2013...spread the word." (A rep for the singer didn't respond to MTV News' request for further information about the art by press time.)
Now Bieber's fans want to give him something back. They know exactly what they would buy him for Christmas. And with a budget restriction of "sky's the limit," when MTV News caught up with some of his devotees, we learned just how much they love Bieber based on their picks, which range from cool rides to hot dates.
"I would buy Justin Bieber a really nice car," Madie Koral told MTV News, with her pal, Adriana Cronin adding, "I was thinking that! Probably a really nice car 'cause he's always into cars."
"I would probably buy him boxers," Sofia Badalamenti said, before adding, "I don't know. What do boys like?"
Her pal, Isabelle Clark, seemed to know that guys like gadgets. Her tech-savvy suggestion? "A customized iPhone," with Badalamenti further suggesting, "With my face on it."
A phone seemed to be a pretty popular choice for the Biebs. Andrew Provencher also said that would be his go-to gift for the pop star. He said, "If I had to think of it right on the spot, probably a new cell phone because he probably has to change his number all the time."
Then there were the fans who went for more personal and, in some cases, more brazen picks as to what they would put under the Christmas tree for the pop superstar. In fact, we're not sure all these ideas can fit under the tree at all. Catherine Witkowski noted she'd "buy him me and put me in a box and, like, give it to him."
Illeana Cohen shared, "I would probably take him to a restaurant and then go see a movie with him."
Along those lines, Cyndie Funaro's date idea upped the ante even more. She said, "So I would get him a honeymoon ... that me and him could spend together."
Willa Neubauer had a pretty swaggy gift idea herself, sharing, "I would want to buy him a house next to us, so we can always be close to him."
