It's hard to believe that it's been only three years since we were introduced to Snooki, who burst into our lives shouting "party's here!" during the first episode of "Jersey Shore" back in 2009.

Since then, we have been along for her wild ride of drunken mishaps, an unforgettable arrest and many head-scratching, "Did she really say that?" moments.

However, in those three years, Snooki has also done a lot of growing up too after giving birth to her first son Lorenzo in August.

During filming of the final season of "Jersey Shore," Snooki was six months pregnant, and saw first-hand how motherhood was going to change her life. Snooki opted to move out of the shore house into her own apartment to concentrate on her pregnancy, but occasionally had a hard time adjusting to a much different kind of summer in Seaside.

"It was definitely different and I felt left out when they would go to the club because I didn't want to go to the club in Seaside, you don't know what's going to happen, there could be fights there could be drunk people everywhere I just didn't want to be around that scene and I kind felt left out," Snooki told MTV News. "But the roommates made me feel comfortable and they included me as much as possible."

And it's those special times with the roommates that Snooki was eager for fans to see, admitting that the highlight from the final season was "enjoying the shore for the last time."

And for the cast of "Jersey Shore" and so many other Seaside goers, the boardwalk may not be the same next summer after the recent devastation of Superstorm Sandy. The powerful storm ripped through the tri-state area and Seaside Heights, New Jersey taking with it its boardwalk, shore houses and so many Seaside staples.

Yet, when MTV News spoke to Snooki last month before the storm, she told us that even though filming may be finished, she will be back to the shore.

"Thinking about not going to the shore next summer, it's weird, like I'm going to go regardless, but not to live with my roommates or to film another season," Snooki said. "It's just sad."

But before they say goodbye, Snooki will reunite with her roommates again to help rebuild the town they called home for four summers. On Thursday, November 15, the "Jersey Shore" cast is teaming up with the nonprofit organization Architecture for Humanity for "Restore the Shore," a live benefit that will ask viewers to contribute to the rebuilding and restoration of Seaside Heights, New Jersey.
