Even though their time at the "Jersey Shore" may be winding down, it doesn't mean that we won't be hearing more from the "Jersey Shore" housemates, especially Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley. The two best friends team up again for the second season of their spin-off series "Snooki & JWoww," and to say a lot has happened in their lives since last season may be an understatement.
Since they took over Jersey City, New Jersey, last season, Snooki has given birth to her son, Lorenzo, with fiancé Jionni LaValle, and JWoww got engaged to longtime boyfriend Roger Mathews and luckily for fans, they are going to see it all.
Snooki recently caught up with MTV News and revealed what's in store for season two of "Snooki & JWoww," which premieres on MTV on Tuesday, January 8 at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
"You see me basically being miserable the last month, and that's gonna be fun to watch me complaining, and then you see him being born and our first month with Lorenzo as new parents," Snooki said. "You also see Jenni getting engaged, my first night out, first night with a drink, so there's a lot of stuff going on and I'm really excited to see what happens."
Yet, this season Snooki and JWoww will not be staying under the same roof, but Snooki promises fans will still be just as entertained.
"[It's] kind of like a 'Housewives' type of thing where we live in different houses, and it's me and Jionni, her and Roger," Snooki said. "But then we always come together and we still hang out and do stuff together."
However, a main focus point for this season will be the two settling into domestic bliss. Back in September, JWoww, who told MTV News that this season would be "so much better than the first," revealed her engagement, which may have been a surprise to her but not to Snooki.
"I wasn't surprised because I knew Roger was going to do it I just didn't know when," said Snooki, who bought Jenni a wedding planning book to "help her out." "But I think I was waiting for it more than Jenni was."
Another thing Snooki will be waiting for is her own wedding Jionni. Since giving birth to Lorenzo back in August, the two have put their wedding plans on hold, not because they are planning on another baby at the moment, but they are planning to build their dream home.
"We don't want to rush anything," Snooki said. "I don't think we're ready and also we need a house first, we don't want to get married and then go back and go into our apartment in his parents' house so we want to build a house first and then we will starting planning a wedding."
