With only a day to go until the 2012 MTV Movie Awards kick into high gear, we're teasing the big event by live-streaming the creation of the Movie Awards red-carpet area.
By Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT, the space shown in the live stream will be filled with celebrities walking the red carpet. Everyone from Kristen Stewart and Andrew Garfield to Michael Fassbender and Mila Kunis will be in attendance, as well as recently announced presenters Jessica Biel, Kate Beckinsale and Jodie Foster. That's not to mention our own Special Style Correspondent, "Vampire Diaries" star Kat Graham, as well as MTV News red carpet hosts Sway, Jim Cantiello and Josh Horowitz.
In fact, if you squint hard enough, you might catch a glimpse of Graham and the MTV News team doing pre-show rehearsals down the red carpet on Saturday. And even if you can't, it's still pretty cool to see the MTV Movie Awards red carpet come together. The closer we get to the 2012 MTV Movie Awards start time, the cooler the red carpet will become. We personally can't wait to see the white plastic come up and the red carpet revealed. Plus, this is a fun time to give all the hard workers bringing the carpet together some appreciation. Thanks, guys and girls!
The 2012 MTV Movie Awards is gearing up to be the biggest bash of the summer. Emma Watson, Ezra Miller and Logan Lerman are going to be on hand to present the brand-new trailer for "The Perks of Being a Wallflower," which you can watch a sneak peek of right here. "The Dark Knight Rises" director Christopher Nolan and co-stars Christian Bale and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are also going to stop by to premiere some footage from their final Batman movie. And let's not forget that President Obama will air his first re-election ad during the show.
