Gracing the cover in a nude-colored bodysuit, her hair cascading in front of her famous face, Perry says that while those three topics are certainly a part of her core, there's a lot more to her than just that. "I don't care what people say about my relationship; I don't care what they say about my boobs. People are buying my songs. I have a sold-out tour," she says of the California Dreams trek. "I'm getting incredible feedback from my music."
To this day, she remains hungry, noting, "I don't take anything for granted. There are 500 other girls right behind me, and I know that, because I was one of them. Perry reveals that her relationship with Brand is always exciting. "[He] never lied to me once. I trust him; there's just a level of trust that we've built up," she says of the man she married in 2010 adding that a Twitpic Brand tweeted of her in bed without makeup didn't bother her.
"We were just messing around," she said. "I didn't really care. I mean, when I go to rehearsals I look like that. I'm every woman. It takes a village to make me who I am. ... You don't have to wake up looking like, you know, Gisele [Bündchen]."
