With Pia Toscano's shocking elimination shaking up season 10 of Facebook>"American Idol," the show's buzz is the loudest it has been since the premiere of the new judging panel back in January. We couldn't think of a better time to re-launch our official post-"Idol" chat show!

MTV News' "Idol Party Live" returns to MTV.com on Thursday in its new weekly time slot, noon ET, to offer up fresh, lively and interactive analysis of Wednesday night's performance episode and predictions for Thursday night's results show. Our resident "American Idol" expert Jim Cantiello and a revolving door of "Idol" bloggers, fans and celebrities will break down every performance, controversy and awkward Gordon Ramsay audience appearance, live on the Web. Viewers can participate by rocking the #idolparty hashtag on Twitter, joining the MTV.com chat room and voting in our Facebook polls.

This week, season-six heavy-hitter Melinda Doolittle will beam in to chat with Jim, a perfect booking coming off last week's surprising results. Like Toscano, Doolittle was widely considered the best vocalist of her season, only to be axed before the finale in favor of a quirky cute-boy and a chirpy teen (Blake Lewis and Jordin Sparks, respectively).

After a two-week hiatus, Cantiello and the "Idol Party Live" crew are eager to pick up right where they left off. "Since we've been off the air, 'Idol' has turned upside down. Kooky growler Haley Reinhart has emerged as a legitimate contender, Jacob Lusk has taken to lecturing viewers and Christian Slater is apparently out to unseat me as 'Idol' 's number-one fan," joked "Idol Party Live" host Cantiello. "Season 10 is providing enough water-cooler fodder to lower work productivity to Gary Busey-on-'Celebrity Apprentice' levels. Sorry, corporate America!"

In its new afternoon time-slot, "Idol Party Live" will look ahead to Thursday night's results shows. Based on Wednesday night's performances, who will be in the bottom three? Who deserves to go home? And will Stefano Langone ever shave that tiny soul patch?

"We're now dab-smack in the middle of the 'Idol' week. Our show has gone from being a post-results reaction show to must-see pre-elimination discussion," Cantiello explained. "We'll be unveiling our picks for the bottom three every week, live on the air. If you're in an 'Idol' pool with your friends, you simply cannot miss the new 'Idol Party Live.' "

Join the "Idol" insanity! "Idol Party Live" returns this Thursday at noon, only at MTV.com, with special guest Melinda Doolittle. The webcast will repeat immediately after and then will be archived on MTV.com for any "Idol" fans who are at school or at a job that doesn't allow for any lunchtime Web viewing. Tweet using the hashtag #idolparty while you watch the performance show Wednesday night and you may be a co-star in Thursday's show!
