Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston will hit the big screen this weekend in the romantic comedy "The Bounty Hunter." And with so many romance rumors floating around these two, it's no surprise that their chemistry is so strong in the flick. Butler credits the pair's personality traits in explaining why they were able to get along so well on the set, as friends, co-workers or otherwise.
"You know, that's a hard one to explain," he told MTV News on the red carpet at the film's New York premiere when asked why he and Aniston got along so well on-set. "Who knows why? You either just have chemistry or you don't."
But he did come up with a reason or two. "I'm like a fun-loving, energetic guy, and she's boisterous," he explained. "She's got a lovely personality, and there's this action-packed, fun script. We're always going to, I think, have a good chemistry."
Earlier this month, Butler laughed off Aniston romance rumors when he spoke to MTV News. In fact, he laughed off a bunch of rumors that he's heard about himself. "I read a rumor somewhere saying that I was actually a woman," he said. "There was one, apparently ... I was just talking about Jen, saying, 'I'm not a gimp,' going on about ... how I want all these other women in my life.
"Then there was one about jam," he continued. "Apparently, I like to go into cafés and order scones and take out my mother's homemade jam. And I take it with me everywhere. And in the same article, it said apparently Johnny Depp likes to travel with his own toilet seat."
