In early January, he made his triumphant return to the world of overly enthusiastic blogging with a capped-out missive about his upcoming album, in which he compared himself to Kobe Bryant, Maya Angelou, Gil Scott-Heron and Nina Simone. That was followed up with his impassioned response to making PETA's worst-dressed celebrities list, an emotional roller-coaster ride that featured him shouting "F--- your coloring book!!!!" to the haters.
And on Friday (February 5), he was back again, this time refuting a New York Post story that he "threw a fit" on a cross-country flight earlier in the week when he and his assistant were seated in business class instead of first.
"Man, this is not true. I really feel bad that people believe this kind of stuff or any random rumor that is taken as fact," West wrote. "This rumor is so funny, because I had a business-class seat and was actually offered a seat in first class. I had a friend who was sitting in coach and asked if they could bump him up to business instead of putting me in first. There was absolutely no altercation in any way.
"I could really care less about where I sit on the plane, I go right to sleep anyway," he continued. "It's hard to deal with the rumors sometimes. As a good person with a warm heart, it does bother me. I'm not bigger than feeling pain, embarrassment, stress and worry. Have you ever been lied about? How does it make you feel? You wanna tell everybody it's not true, right?"
We sure do, Kanye. West concluded his rant by thanking fans for their support and telling them that he is so hard at work on his new album that he is "sleeping in the studio."
"I won't let you guys down!" he wrote.
