There's the new class of male and female rookies, and there's also the female vets, but let's not forget that in 2010, our male Pop Week MVPs are ready to dominate TV, radio and movies. Whether they are competing for the same girl on the big screen, fighting office politics on the small screen or bucking music-industry trends, these guys aren't going anywhere in the next 12 months.
Hails From: Boston
In 2009: He not only ruled prime time on "The Office," on which his character, Jim, finally married longtime love Pam, but he also ruled the local cineplex with roles in "Away We Go," "Monsters vs. Aliens" and "It's Complicated." He even got engaged to his lady, Emily Blunt, over the summer.
Why He'll Be Huge in 2010: He's set to head back to "The Office" and is even taking stab at directing an episode due to air in early February. Plus, he's about to be a dad, on TV at least, as Jim and Pam will soon welcome a baby to their fictional family.
Choice Quote: "I don't have anything lined up," he joked about his upcoming year. "Is that a script in your hand?"
Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson
Ages: 17 and 23
Hail From: Grand Rapids, Michigan, and London
In 2009: The guys teamed up once again on the big screen for "Twilight Saga: New Moon," and their collective hotness and feud over Bella Swan broke box-office records. They kept their names in the gossip pages with constant speculation about their dating lives and had everyone asking the fundamental question: Team Edward or Team Jacob?
Why They'll Be Huge in 2010: Lautner can be seen next in "Valentine's Day" alongside former flame Taylor Swift, and he's all set to tackle the lead role in the "Max Steel" movie. Meanwhile, Pattinson will be seen in the romance "Remember Me." In June, the two heartthrobs will once again have girls swooning in "Twilight Saga: Eclipse."
Choice Quote: "I think Bella's little bit of treachery in the third one will be ... I think it's going to be a good scene," Pattinson said of "Eclipse," with Lautner adding, "My favorite scene in the entire series is the tent scene, where the three of us are together. And it's gonna be really fun. There's a lot of comedy in 'Eclipse.' "
Hails From: San Diego
In 2009: Lambert might not have won "American Idol," but he certainly had everyone talking. Whether he was coming out on the cover of Rolling Stone or making no apologies for his controversial AMA performance, Lambert eclipsed his fellow "Idol" alumni. He also released his debut album, For Your Entertainment, and had a single on the "2012" soundtrack, "Time for Miracles."

Why He'll Be Huge in 2010: He will release his music video for "Whataya Want From Me" on Friday and is already planning out his next moves, including a tour this year. Plus, he's even hoping he might get a call and find himself on the "Eclipse" soundtrack.
Choice Quote: "Right after 'Idol,' [I didn't know what to do] because that's when we started planning the album. And I was just like, 'I don't really know what direction I need to go in. I don't know if I should be doing straight-up rock music, because I got a lot of my cred on "Idol" doing '70s rock, or if I should be doing the electro-pop dance stuff that I love, that I listen to now,' " he explained about his post-"Idol" identity crisis. "I couldn't decide: Do I do what I love to listen to or what I'm best at?"
