Very rarely does the opportunity arise in an interview where you can ask one of the biggest A-listers in Hollywood about centaurs, the half-man, half-horse creatures from Greek mythology. But that's just what happened when we asked Kate Hudson about the rumors stating her boyfriend, New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez, has a portrait of himself as the mythical beast hanging in his bedroom.

Hudson, instead of confirming or denying the rumors (which were originally reported by Us Weekly), just laughed when confronted with the question and faced with a mock-up of the alleged portrait.

"What is that?" she coyly asked when MTV News showed her the picture. "That's horrible. That is the craziest thing anyone has ever asked me."

When pressed a bit further to confirm or deny the report, Hudson would only tell us the following: "I would never indulge in something so ridiculous. That's ... no, I don't indulge in those types of stories," she continued, "As humorous as you might think they are."

In late October, a source told the publication about the alleged A-Rod portraits and how impressed with himself the Yankees third baseman could be. "He was so vain," the ex-girlfriend revealed, adding the details of the portraits. "He was so vain," the source, reportedly ex-girlfriend, said, adding details about the portraits that she claimed hang in his bedroom. "He had not one, but two painted portraits of himself as a centaur. You know, the half-man, half-horse figure? It was ridiculous."

A-Rod helped guide his New York Yankees to their 27th World Series win earlier this month. He appeared in the city's victory parade with Jay-Z.
