Lauren Conrad once joked she'd like to see friend Lo Bosworth star in the movie adaptation of her novel "L.A. Candy," but recently told us she's taking it slow with the casting process. Although Stephanie Pratt has helpfully suggested that Queen Latifah play her.) Now, Conrad's former boss, current "City" star and People's Revolution head honcho Kelly Cutrone imagines who should play her character (tough-as-nails PR boss Fiona Chen) in the flick.
"What about Jonathan Rhys Meyers? That could be really good crossover role for him," she joked to MTV News.
"They would have to have black hair — they would have to be slightly on the mean side. I would like Cher to play me," she proposed. "I think that would be really great. She's ageless and she has long black hair and she wears all black and she could be really mean."
Cutrone also had another raven-haired Hollywood icon on her short list. "Anjelica Huston could play me," she said. "I mean, I think we should bring back some of the great ones — they're older. They're more established. And they have the ability to be mean. Or if, like, Anne Hathaway was on, like, a downward spiral, she could come back for a second round. I like Cher. I think we should just go with Cher — Jonathan Rhys Meyers or Cher."
As for the book's protagonist, Jane Roberts, she's a little unsure of who to cast. "I don't know ... what about Sienna Miller? Wouldn't that be funny? What about Kate Hudson? That would be cute. But she might be too old," she said before settling on the right candidate. "Leighton Meester. Wouldn't that be the great role for her?"
