Chris Brown fans are reacting to the singer's occasionally evasive interview with Larry King on Wednesday night — many tuned in to see if he'd be giving some insight into the events that took place during his altercation with Rihanna in February. His fans didn't get much in terms of details, but they didn't seem to mind.
"From what he said, I think he's kind of right about giving Rihanna some privacy," Fernando Feliciano told MTV News. "And he should be going out doing community service, not getting too much punishment — but he still should be getting punished."
Meanwhile, Shannon O'Connor thought that Brown was "owning up" to the incident. "Well, I mean, he's trying to help his image and I think it's good he's owning up to it," she said. "He's not just letting it go, and he's trying to help himself and talk about it. I think some of it could stay private — everything doesn't have to be out there. Nobody has to know everything."
Fans like Isa took to MTVNews.com to react to the interview, saying, "People need to move on now and focus on some of the issues going on around the world. He made a mistake, he apologized to Rhianna and she forgave him. Chris is young and he deserves a second chance."
But there are viewers like Edgar Bonifacio who just didn't think the interview was enough to prove to him that Brown was sorry about what he did. "I just believe that his career is over after what he did, 'cause he don't have an excuse for that," he said. "I think he's trying to come back, but I don't think it's going to help him. I don't think ... he was sorry about it. He just went over there 'cause he needed to come back for his career — if he didn't need that for his career, he wouldn't do it."
