But what Crawford was most excited about was hearing the crowd scream for him as he accepted his award — which he equated to the way an athlete must feel while playing in front of huge crowds at stadiums and arenas.
"If I could do anything, it would be [becoming] a professional athlete," he told MTV News after winning his surfboards at the show.
But don't think that he's ready to give up acting anytime soon now that his fans have honored him for his work on the show, even if being there in front of all those people made him a bit nervous.

He continued that it was nice winning an award that is "talent oriented." "We got a bunch last year [too]," he said. "We're so blessed to have these fans."
Crawford did take a minute as well to give a shout out to the night's hosts, the Jonas Brothers, who in his professional acting opinion have what it takes to do more than just singing.
"They seem fun," he said. "They're crossing over, it looks like. They did good."
