The fellas kept it relaxed. The JoBros, hosts and nominees, all opted for a jacket and dress pants, but each look varied slightly. Kevin donned an all-black look as Joe kept it slightly "Miami Vice"-esque with his neon T-shirt. Meanwhile, Nick added a dash of color in a different way, opting for a beige blazer. The youngest "Bonus" Jonas, Frankie, kept the blazer look going by pairing his with jeans.
Fellow heartthrob
Lautner and "Gossip Girl" star Chace Crawford came dangerously close to showing up in the same outfit, but Crawford's jeans were slightly darker and his vest and button-down were blue. And not to be outdone by the guy who took his role in "Footloose," Zac Efron looked sleek and laid-back in his plaid top, jeans and sneakers.
The ladies, however, embraced edgier looks. Last year's host, Miley Cyrus, wore a sparkly, super-short black miniskirt with a plain white tank top, studded belt and an array of necklaces that mid-'80s Madonna would have been proud of.
Ashley Tisdale also went edgy, pairing her strapless black-and-purple dress with studded peep-toe shoes. However, the most-anticipated arrival of the night had to be Britney Spears, who wore her blond hair long and straight and went for the classic little black dress — changing up the classic just a bit with sparkly fabric and asymmetrical design.
