We already told you that
And while Yorke's people wouldn't confirm the potentially mind-blowing collabo, Weitz revealed on Thursday that he's got the track in hand and can't wait to listen. Speaking to the entertainment Web site HitFix.com amid the Comic-Con madness, Weitz said that he has not only secured a new song from the Radiohead mastermind, but also one from freak-folkie
"I selfishly want to put songs in by artists I love. And some the cast and crew also happen to love," Weitz said. "I think [Bon Iver] is fantastic. He says he wrote it for the film, but who ever knows if it might just be something laying around in his cupboard." Weitz said he'll be listening to the Yorke track Friday (July 24) and said that "unless it's sounds of him belching, I think I'll put it in." Spokespeople for Yorke and Bon Iver could not be reached for comment at press time.
Weitz also said he's planning to include a track from the British trio Band of Skulls and once again mentioned that he'd like to get a Kings of Leon song for the soundtrack to the "Twilight" sequel. The "Twilight" soundtrack has sold more than 2.1 million copies to date.
